Building Faith (www.buildfaith.org) is a free website that offers practical resources for faith formation with children, youth, and adults. Published by the Center for the Ministry of Teaching at Virginia Theological Seminary, Building Faith is trusted by Christians from a wide variety of denominations.
At Building Faith you’ll find articles, advice, reviews, success stories, and seasonal ideas for Christian formation with people of all ages. Whether you are a formation professional, volunteer, parent, teacher, clergy, or parish staff, we are here to serve you, as you make and form disciples of Jesus Christ. You can browse and search Building Faith online for free, and subscribe for free to receive each new article by email.

Who created Building Faith?
The site was originally created in 2010 by Church Publishing Inc., with renowned Christian educator Sharon Ely Pearson. The Center for the Ministry of Teaching began managing the site in 2014.
Is Building Faith really free?
Building Faith is completely free to read, and it always will be. You can also subscribe for free, which means you receive each new article by email, directly to your inbox. We post new content every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Building Faith Team
Building Faith is published by Center for the Ministry of Teaching (CMT) at Virginia Theological Seminary. While the whole CMT contributes, the editors of Building Faith are Matthew Kozlowski and Charlotte Greeson.
Matthew lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Danielle and two young daughters. He is an Episcopal priest, having graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary. Throughout his career he has been a teacher, camp counselor, school chaplain, camp chaplain, Sunday school teacher, parish priest, and Alpha course coordinator. He has a passion for writing, preaching, and cooking.
Charlotte Hand Greeson
Charlotte recently moved to southern California where she continues to represent the CMT and manage Building Faith. She has served in the world of Christian formation for most of her career, with experiences all over the country in many different worship settings. Charlotte has been a staff member, a volunteer, a parent, and an advocate for faith formation and continuing spiritual growth. She lives with her husband and two teenage children.
